To support the effectiveness and growth of meditation teaching organisations.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
To encourage in meditation teaching organisations the most effective and ethical administrative practices, including:
- an organisational climate that welcomes bold inquiry, honest clarification, and critical thinking
- continuous self-examination as the basis of Continuous Improvement
- best practice in transparency and accountability
- full appreciation that success is dependent on achieving the optimum outcomes for all five stakeholders: customers/clients, members/shareholders, employees/volunteers, the public, and the environment.
Who are we?
IPMT is an independent international organisation chartered under the laws of New Zealand.
IPMT was founded by a group of meditation teachers with broad experience in teaching meditation and related programmes, and in operating meditation Centres. Collectively, the founding members of the Institute have innumerable years of expertise in technologies of consciousness and other professions: business management, information technology, marketing, manufacturing, education, science, and more.
What do we do?
We provide advocacy for individuals working in the field. We also offer seminars, professional development, curated information resources, educational materials, problem-solving, marketing advice, and mentoring.
IPMT provides a resource of skilled professionals from various backgrounds.
